Using his name and reputation they began to market under the name of the Don Lapre, thus creating, The worlds greatest Vitamin. This was a vitamin claiming to cure all kinds of diseases, but were ordered by the FDA in 2005 to stop using this claim. All of this lead to the marketing angle of giving customers a motivational encouragement saying they received $1000 every time someone tried the vitamin.
